Roasted Red Pepper Hummus w/ Sumac & Fresh Thyme

Yields: 2 cups

Do ahead: Roast your own peppers at home with our fire roasted red pepper instructions.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup roasted red peppers 

  • 1 (15oz) can of chickpeas, drained

  • 2 cloves garlic

  • 3 Tbsp tahini

  • 3 Tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 Tbsp olive oil (plus more for garnish)

  • 1 tsp sumac

  • 1 tsp fresh thyme

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1/4 tsp salt

Suggested Garnishes:

  • olive oil

  • red pepper flakes

  • fresh thyme

Directions:


Add all ingredients to a high powered blender or food processor. Blend until smooth.  Taste, add more salt & pepper if needed.
