Featherstone Garden’s Green of the Week

Welcome to the newest addition to our Garden Goodness blog! Each week, we will introduce you to our favorite greens by sharing their health benefits and culinary uses.

Plant-centered diets rich in fruits and vegetables provide an abundance of human bioactive compounds and micronutrients, which are known to have protective health benefits and reduce the development of chronic disease. Micro and baby greens have a considerably higher concentration of health building blocks compared to mature fruits and vegetables. These greens are also popular because they come in varying and attractive colors, textures, and flavors.
